Why Donate?

Not only does it cost approximately $15,000 per month just to run our shelter, we often have expensive medical bills to help some of our very deserving rescues. All donations go directly to the shelter and are completely tax -deductible! Help us give homeless animals another shot at happiness in a loving home. Even the smallest donations help, so give what you can.

Project HART Donations!
Friends for life operates, Project HART, Humane Animal Rescue and Treatment. HART volunteers maintain feeding stations providing food and water to animals that would otherwise starve. When funding permits, we humanely trap at the feeding stations and the animals are tested for disease and spayed or neutered. The wild animals are returned to their home at the feeding station and the tame animals are provided with a foster home where they will await adoption.

We need your HELP to continue our rescue efforts. You can help by becoming a HART supporter and donating $10 per month to Project HART. If you choose to be a Project HART supporter, you will know that with each passing day, yet another animal was rescued. My Best Friend Program!
You can help Friends for Life provide assistance for your human and animal neighbors. The "My Best Friend Program" will provide up to $500 in assistance for our low income neighbors when they are confronted with an unexpected need such as:
Assistance with companion animal boarding fees when a senior citizen needs to seek medical treatment.
Assistance with companion animal boarding fees for victims of domestic violence seeking shelter for themselves.
Assistance with unexpected medical expenses.

United Way Payroll Deductions!
UNITED WAY: If you contribute to the United Way through payroll deductions, you can specify organization code:  0736 and your United Way funds will go directly to Friends for Life!  Ask your employer or United Way representative for the forms needed to identify a specific organization when making your one-time contribution or during annual enrollment.  Thank you!
